Water Quest Canoes

Water Quest canoes are produced by Johnson Outdoors, which also makes small boats and kayaks. The fishing boats are about 9'4" to 11'3" in length and cost about $800-2300.

The Water Quest 14 canoe is 14 ft long and weighs 89 lbs. The material is resistant polyethylene, which is much more resistant than fiberglass. The canoe has comfortable, molded seats. Optional equipment includes seat cushions, paddles, oars, an oar lock socket kit and a motor mount.

The canoe has a convenient tie down area for a fishing pole and an extra paddle. It has a cooler that keeps drinks cold. A dry storage space protects valuables. Warranty is two years for the hull and deck. Price is about $500-900.

A heavy duty motor mount can handle a 2.5 HP or an electric trolling motor.
