St. Croix Fishing Rods

St. Croix fishing rods are available for every fishing method. St. Croix was created in 1948 to make and sell landing nets. These were quality nets, but were too expensive for most fishermen. The company decided to make portable cane fishing poles and fitted them with brass ferrules. It added new fishing equipment products and grew very fast. It is now one of the most popular fishing rod manufacturer and marketer.



St. Croix offers a complete line of rods and reels for fly fishing, spinning and casting, saltwater and ice fishing.

The fly fishing line includes 5 models:
1. The Legend Elite features premium graphite blanks. The rods come with an aluminum rod tube and a cloth rod sack. Price is about $320-410 depending on size and line weight.
2. The Legend Ultra models are very popular fly rods. Price is about $330-370.
3. The Avid fly models come with a nylon covered rod case. Price is about $190-230.
4. The Reign fly rods feature premium graphite, smooth moderate fast actions, aluminum oxide stripper guides with black frames, a premium cork handle and a lifetime limited warranty. Price is about $130-160.
5. The Triumph fly fishing outfits come with a rod case and cloth sack. Price for the rod is about $90-120 and the price for the reel is about $40.

The rods for spinning and casting come in 9 models. The Triumph models cost about $50-100.The Legend Bass series cost about $210-280, while the Legend Walleye series cost about $210-340.
The Elite casting rods cost about $300-350 while the Elite spinning rods cost about $260-320.

The St. Croix fishing rods for saltwater come in several models. The least expensive ones are the Triumph surf models, which cost about $80-140. The Legend inshore rods cost about $300-330.

The ice fishing line has 2 models. Price is about $20-50.
