St.Croix Fishing Reels


The St.Croix Company was founded in 1948 to make landing nets. Later, St.Croix fishing reels, fishing rods and fishing accessories were added.

The St.Croix Avid Spinning Reels cost about $135. They feature an aluminum alloy housing, five stainless steel roller bearings and a high performance drag system.

Premier Ice Rod & Reel Combos cost about $35-40. The combo includes a premier ice rod and a St.Croix PS250 ice reel.

The Premier ice rod features a solid carbon blank, stainless steel guides and a traditional cork handle.

The PS250 front drag ice reel has an aluminum body, aluminum spool, three ball bearings, left or right retrieve and infinite anti reverse.

The combo comes with wide rubber reel bands to fasten the reel to the rod. Rod length come in 24", 28" and 32".
