A motorized Kayak
makes Fishing safer

A motorized kayak is easy to use and will make fishing from the kayak safer. You don't have to use paddles. You can just concentrate on fishing.

Motors are available that will fit most kayaks. These motors can be mounted on the stern of your kayak. Motor kits range in price from about $500-1000, depending on size.

The kit includes everything you need for installation. The battery has to be purchased separately. Starting and turning the motor off is usually done with a joy stick or foot pedal.

The Ocean Torque kayak features a Minn Kota trolling motor. It is a quiet motor with an infinite speed control. The motor has a reverse option that lets you get out of tight spots. You can easily remove the motor for transport.

Material for the boat is polyethylene, which is almost indestructible under normal use. The kayak has an oversized well with bungee cords. It also has adjustable foot braces, paddle keepers and a molded-in cup holder. The extra large rudder is designed to optimize steering. The kayak can easily be converted to paddling. List price is about $2000.
