A great Variety
of Fishing Sinkers

Fishing sinkers are used to hold your bait near the bottom of the stream. There are many types available. The more common types are: 1. pyramid 2. clinch on 3. bank 4. split shot 5. dipsey 6. sliding sinkers

Pyramid
The pyramid is used mostly in bottom fishing. Here the pyramid rests on the bottom. If the bottom is soft, the pyramid can dig in and hold in place. The bait is attached above the pyramid with a three way swivel.

Bank
The bank swivel is used just like the pyramid swivel. It is best used on a rocky bottom.

Clinch On
These sinkers are good to use with a spinning tackle. The line is placed in the slit and the slit is closed by bending down both ears.

In general, use a type, which is light but can get the job done.
