Spin rods with graphite blanks that have guides with titanium inserts cost about $20. The rods have cork handles and a lightweight graphite reel seat. Two piece fiberglass rods with wire framed ceramic guides and double locking reel seats cost about $30.

Graphite models with aluminum oxide guides cost about $37-45. Two piece fly rods cost about $35.

Eagle Claw featherlight spinning rods are very popular and very affordable. They are made of polyester fiberglass. Price is about $20-28.

The Pack-it-Spin combo is a 5 section spinning rod that extends to 5 feet and 6 inches. It features a light ball bearing reel with an aluminum spool. The rod is made from lightweight fiberglass with wired framed ceramic guides. The rod has a comfortable cork handle. Price is about $22-30.
