Cortland Fishing Lines
include popular Fly Lines

Cortland fishing lines include popular fly lines. It also offers monofilament and braided lines.

In 1953 Cortland introduced the 333 fly line series. It was the first fly line manufactured with a bonded synthetic coating that allowed the line to float without repeated cleaning.

In the late 1970s the 444 fly line was brought to market. Many improvements have been made to this line. The Cortland 444 Lazer Line Tropic Plus costs about $40-55. It is specially designed with a hard outer finish. It is made to withstand varying temperatures and extreme humidity in saltwater fishing.

Cortland Precision Platinum floating lines cost about $65-70. They are formulated with a special coating to make them slick and durable.
