Coleman Canoes

Coleman canoes are manufactured by Pelican International. Coleman also markets tents, stoves, backpacks, sleeping bags, coolers, heaters and other outdoor equipment. Coleman offers inflatable boats and kayaks. Impact resistant material is used for canoes, kayaks, fishing boats and pedal boats.

Canoes come in four models: Journey, Odyssey, Scanoe DXL and Vantage.

The Journey is a 15' 6" long, lightweight touring canoe. It is made of impact resistant RAM X material and weighs 84 lbs. The canoe has three molded bench seats filled with foam. Maximum capacity is 800 lbs. The canoe is easily transported on top of a car or carried by two people. Price is about $510-688.

The Odyssey is a 17' 5" long touring canoe made of strong RAM X material. The canoe weighs 91 lbs. It has three molded bench seats filled with foam, vertical rod holders and drink holders. Maximum capacity is 1050 lbs. Price is about $610-696.

The Scanoe is a 16' 3" square back canoe with a wide flat bottom. The canoe is good for fishermen, who require a stable platform and a large carrying capacity. Maximum capacity is 950 lbs. Price is $819-899. Features include:

The Vantage is a 13' 6" long touring canoe. It is made of impact resistant RAM X material. It weighs 56 lbs and has a weight capacity of 650 lbs.
