Trilene and Big Game Brands
are popular Berkley Fishing Lines

Berkley was started in 1945. The Trilene brand was added to the Berkley fishing lines in 1959. The company experienced great growth with significant improvements in products.
Berkley offers several brands:

1. The Trilene Crystal is a translucent super line, which is almost invisible under water. It casts and ties knots easily. The ultra thin diameter provides low visibility and good lure action. Price for 125 yard filler spools is about $19.

2. The Vanish brand is an easy to cast fluorocarbon line that is basically invisible. It maintains 100% of its knot and line strength when wet. Price for 1/4 lb custom spools is about $30.

3. The Big Game braid line offers great strength. It is 3-5 times thinner than monofilament with the same breaking strength. It is ideal for trolling, deep water jigging or line bait fishing. Price is about $24.50 for 300 yard spools with a 10-30 lb test.

4. The Trilene brand delivers smooth casting with great strength and durability. Price for 330 yard filler spools is about $7-10.

5. The Fluorocabon line is invisible to fish. The line does not absorb water and therefore retains its strength and abrasion resistance.

6. The Superline is strong and sensitive. Fused and braided lines are available.
