Airrus Fishing Rods
are strong and lightweight

Airrus fishing rods have been available since 2003. The rods were previously sold as Sirrus. The new company won the ICAST "Best of Show" reward in 2002. Its new technology Co-Matrix has been a great success. The technology features multiple fiber types in the rod blank. The fiber is very strong and lightweight.

Several types of rods are available:

1. The Copperhead spinning and casting models are strong and sensitive. They feature aluminum winding checks that are lightweight and stylish. Price is about $170.

2. The Feather Touch casting rods feature aircraft grade aluminum to provide strength and durability. Price is about $270.

3. The K-Lite models feature a filament wound, cone shaped handle that increases the sensitivity over conventional cork handles. Price is about $250.

4. The Co-Matrix 457 spinning and casting rods cost about $95. Features include:
a. Filament winding in the lower section of the rods
b. Multi modules tip section
c. High quality cork grip handles
d. Fuji guides and reel seats

5. Other rods available are the Plus R, Tradition and the Ultra XL.
