If you fish often in the rain, a modern rain suit made of materials that keeps perspiration away and is waterproof would be better. Polarized fishing sunglasses cost about $150-160. They fit great and are fashionable. They have polarized thin glass, are scratch resistant and have 100% UV protection.

If you fish in rivers, you will need hip or chest waders. Lightweight and durable hip waders cost about $45-50. Insulated hip waders cost about $65-75. Lightweight and durable chest waders cost about $65-70, while the insulated types cost about $75-85.

Other items you might want to carry are: insect repellent, first aid kit, flashlight and a landing net.
